भारतीय दुतावासा (Indian Embassy) बाहेरील हल्ले आणि निर्दशनावरुन भारताचे विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर (S Jaishankar) यांनी नाराजगी व्यक्त केली आहे. त्यांनी म्हटले आहे की भारतीय दुतावासांना सुरक्षा देण्यास ब्रिटेन सरकार अपयशी ठरले आहे. खलिस्तानी हिंसाचारावर,जयशंकर म्हणाले की, परदेशी "सरकारांना आठवण करून देण्याची गरज आहे" की "कट्टरतावाद, दहशतवाद, हिंसाचार यांना समर्थन देण्यासाठी नागरी स्वातंत्र्याचा गैरवापर केला जाऊ नये"
