म्यानमार मध्ये भूकंपाचे मोठे धक्के जाणवल्यानंतर भारताचे पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी चिंता व्यक्त केली आहे. म्यानमार आणि थायलंड मध्ये भूकंपामुळे मोठ्या नुकसानाचा अंदाज आहे. अशा परिस्थितीमध्ये भारताकडून मदतीचा हात पुढे केला जाईल असे पीएम मोदी म्हणाले आहेत. थायलंडची राजधानी बँकॉकसह अनेक भागांना भूकंपाचा धक्का बसला आहे. बँकॉकमध्ये पुढील आठवड्यात होणाऱ्या BIMSTEC regional grouping summit चे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. या परिषदेला मोदी आणि इतर नेते उपस्थित राहणार आहेत.
