वायव्य भारतात पुढील 7 दिवस उष्णतेच्या लाटेची अपेक्षा नाही पण कमाल तापमान 40 अंश राहण्याची शक्यता हवामान खात्याचा अंदाजपत्रात देण्यात आली आहे. मे महिन्याच्या पहिल्या सहामाहीत उष्णतेच्या लाटेची परिस्थिती वायव्य भारताच्या भागांना प्रभावित करणाऱ्या Western Disturbances मुळे कमी होती. आता पुन्हा Western Disturbances ची शक्यता असल्याने पुढील 7 दिवस तेथे उष्णतेच्या लाटेची अपेक्षा नाही. पण कमाल तापमान असेल, 40°C पर्यंत असल्याचा अंदाज कुलदीप श्रीवास्तव, IMD, दिल्ली यांनी वर्तवली आहे. हरियाणा, दक्षिण हरियाणा, दिल्ली एनसीआर, पश्चिम उत्तर प्रदेश आणि उत्तर-पूर्व राजस्थानवर धुळीचे वारे वाहत आहेत. यामागील मुख्य कारण म्हणजे Western disturbances निघून गेल्याने जोरदार वारे वाहत आहेत.
