Amazon Summoned by Labour Ministry: अॅमेझॉनमधील कर्मचारी कपातीविरोधात मोदी सरकारची कारवाई; कंपनीच्या सर्वात मोठ्या अधिकाऱ्याला बोलावणे धाडले

टेक आणि ई-कॉमर्स क्षेत्रातील दिग्गज कंपनी Amazon ला केंद्रीय कामगार मंत्रालयाने भारतातील अलीकडील कर्मचारी कापतीबाबत नोटीस पाठवली आहे. उपमुख्य कामगार आयुक्त ए अंजनप्पा, यांनी कंपनीला व्हॉलंटरी सेपरेशन प्रोग्राम (VSP) संदर्भात बोलावले आहे. अॅमेझॉनच्या पब्लिक पॉलिसी मॅनेजर स्मिता शर्मा यांना 23 नोव्हेंबर रोजी होणाऱ्या सुनावणीला उपस्थित राहण्यास सांगण्यात आले आहे.
Amazon ने नुकतेच काहीर केले होते की, ते जागतिक स्तरावर 10,000 कर्मचार्यांना काढून टाकणार आहेत. त्यानंतर Amazon च्या भारतीय शाखाने त्यांच्या कर्मचार्यांना स्वेच्छेने कंपनी सोडण्याचे आवाहन करून VSP पाठवणे सुरू केले. याबाबत कर्मचारी संघटनेच्या तक्रारीनंतर अॅमेझॉन इंडियाच्या सार्वजनिक धोरण व्यवस्थापकाला कामगार मंत्रालयाने बोलावले आहे.
