अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन यांनी बुधवारी सादर केलेल्या केंद्रीय अर्थसंकल्प 2023-24 मध्ये चीनमधून स्वस्त आयातीला परावृत्त करणे आणि देशांतर्गत उत्पादनास प्रोत्साहन देण्याच्या उद्देशाने, इमिटेशन ज्वेलरीवरील सीमा शुल्क 20 टक्क्यांवरून 25 टक्क्यांपर्यंत वाढवण्यात आले आहे. 2023-24 च्या अर्थसंकल्पात निर्यातीला चालना देण्यासाठी आणि देशातील उत्पादनाच्या वाढीला गती देण्यासाठी अनेक उपाय आहेत. अप्रत्यक्ष कर सरलीकरण आणि तर्कसंगतीकरणावर स्पष्ट निर्यात-केंद्रित फोकस आहे.
