लष्करप्रमुख एमएम नरवणे (Manoj Naravane) यांनी पुढच्या पिढीतील स्वदेशी युद्ध रणगाड्या लष्कराला सुपूर्द केल्या, म्हणाले - 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत'च्या दिशेने एक महत्त्वाचे पाऊल भारतीय लष्कराला स्वदेशी बनावटीच्या नेक्स्ट जनरेशन बॅटल टँक आणि इतर उपकरणांची पहिली खेप मिळाली आहे. लष्करप्रमुख जनरल मनोज मुकुंद नरवणे यांनी पुण्यात या रणगाड्यांचा लष्कराच्या ताफ्यात समावेश केला. दरम्यान, लष्कराच्या एका अधिकाऱ्याने म्हटले आहे की ही प्रणाली भारतीय सैन्याच्या विद्यमान अभियंता शोध क्षमता वाढवेल आणि भविष्यातील संघर्षांमध्ये यांत्रिक ऑपरेशन्सला पाठिंबा देण्यासाठी एक मोठा गेम-चेंजर सिद्ध होईल.
