उस्ताद झाकीर हुसेन यांना 1988 मध्ये पद्मश्री, 2002 मध्ये पद्मभूषण आणि 2023 मध्ये पद्मविभूषण पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आले होते.
तबलावादक पद्मविभूषण उस्ताद झाकीर हुसेन यांचे निधन झाले असल्याची माहिती काही वृत्तसंस्थांनी दिली आहे. सॅन फ्रान्सिस्कोमध्ये त्यांच्यावर उपचार सुरू होते. तिथेच त्यांनी अखेरचा श्वास घेतला. त्यांचा जन्म 9 मार्च 1951 रोजी मुंबईत झाला. उस्ताद झाकीर हुसेन यांना 1988 मध्ये पद्मश्री, 2002 मध्ये पद्मभूषण आणि 2023 मध्ये पद्मविभूषण पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात आले होते.
