Ban Female Employees in Taliban: अर्थव्यवस्था मंत्रालयाच्या पत्रानुसार अफगाणिस्तानच्या तालिबान संचालित प्रशासनाने शनिवारी सर्व स्थानिक आणि परदेशी गैर-सरकारी संस्थांना (एनजीओ) महिला कर्मचाऱ्यांना कामावर येण्यापासून रोखण्याचे आदेश दिले आहेत. अर्थ मंत्रालयाचे प्रवक्ते अब्दुलरहमान हबीब यांनी पुष्टी केलेल्या या पत्रात म्हटले आहे की, महिला कर्मचाऱ्यांना पुढील सूचना मिळेपर्यंत काम करण्याची परवानगी देण्यात आली नाही. कारण काहींनी महिलांसाठी इस्लामिक ड्रेसकोडच्या प्रशासनाच्या स्पष्टीकरणाचे पालन केले नाही. अफगाणिस्तानमध्ये मोठ्या प्रमाणावर उपस्थिती असलेल्या संयुक्त राष्ट्रांच्या एजन्सींना हा आदेश लागू झाला की, नाही हे अद्याप स्पष्ट झालेले नाही.
