भारतानं 29 जूनला बारबाडोसमध्ये दक्षिण आफ्रिकेला पराभूत करत टी 20 वर्ल्ड कप जिंकला होता. भारतानं 7 धावांनी विजय मिळवला होता. यानंतर बारबाडोसमध्ये चक्रीवादळाचा इशारा जारी करण्यात आला होता. यानंतर बारबाडोस विमानतळावरील उड्डाणं बंद करण्यात आली होती. बारबाडोसमध्ये असलेले खेळाडू आणि पत्रकारांना सुरक्षित पणे बाहेर काढण्यासाठी बिसीसीआयकडून खास चार्टड विमानाची सोय केली होती. यामुळे काल रात्री बारबोडोसमधून टीम इंडीया आणि पत्रकार मायदेशासाठी रवाना झाले आहेत.
