भारतीय बॅडमिंटनपटू सात्विकसाईराज रँकीरेड्डी (Satwiksairaj Rankireddy) आणि चिराग शेट्टी या (Chirag Shetty) जोडीने इंडोनेशिया ओपनचे विजेतेपद पटकावले आहे. पुरुष दुहेरीच्या अंतिम फेरीत भारतीय जोडीने अॅरॉन चिया आणि सोह वुई यिक या मलेशियाच्या जोडीचा 21-17, 21-18 असा सरळ गेममध्ये पराभव केला. सात्विक आणि चिराग या जोडीचे हे पहिले सुपर 1000 वर्ल्ड टूर विजेतेपद आहे. मलेशियाच्या जोडीविरुद्ध 7 वेळा पराभूत झाल्यानंतर सात्विक आणि चिराग यांनी पहिला विजय मिळवला. अॅरोन चिया आणि सोह वुई यिक ही जोडी पुरुष दुहेरीत जगज्जेते आहे.
