भारतीय महिला संघाचा सेमी फायनलमध्ये प्रवेश झाल्यामुळे आता आशियाई क्रिडा स्पर्धेत भारताचे एक मेडल नक्की झाले आहे.
मलेशियाविरुद्धचा सामना पावसामुळे रद्द झाल्यानंतर भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट संघाने आयसीसीच्या चांगल्या क्रमवारीच्या आधारे आशियाई क्रीडा स्पर्धेच्या उपांत्य फेरीत प्रवेश केला आहे. यासामन्यात भारताने प्रथम फंलदाजी करत 15 षटकांत 173 धावा केल्या होत्या. शेफालीने 39 चेंडूंत 4 चौकार आणि 5 षटकारांच्या मदतीने 67 धावा केल्या, तर जेमिमाने 29 चेंडूंत नाबाद 47 धावा केल्या, ज्यात तिने सहा चौकार मारले. रिचा घोषने 7 चेंडूत 21 धावांची तुफानी खेळी खेळली. पंरतू पावसाच्या व्यत्ययामुळे हा सामना आता रद्द करण्यात आला आहे.
