बीसीसीआयने अधिकृत घोषणा करत, महिला आयपीएल संघ (WIPL) मालकांच्या नावांची यादी प्रसिद्ध केली आहे. महिला इंडियन प्रीमियर लीगमध्ये खेळणाऱ्या पाच संघांची बुधवारी घोषणा करण्यात आली. अदानी समूहाने सर्वाधिक 1,289 कोटी रुपये देऊन संघ विकत घेतला आहे. मुंबई इंडियन्सने 912 कोटींना, रॉयल चॅलेंजर्स बंगळुरूने 901 कोटींना, कॅप्री ग्लोबलने 757 कोटींना आणि दिल्ली कॅपिटल्सने 810 कोटींना संघ विकत घेतला आहे. महिला आयपीएलसाठी एकूण 4669.99 कोटींची बोली लागली होती. पहिला हंगाम 5 ते 23 मार्च दरम्यान होण्याची शक्यता आहे. प्रत्येक संघात 15 ते 18 खेळाडू असतील. प्रत्येक संघात एकूण सात परदेशी खेळाडू (सहयोगी देशांसह) समाविष्ट केले जाऊ शकतात. त्याचप्रमाणे, सर्व संघ त्यांच्या प्लेइंग इलेव्हनमध्ये पाच परदेशी खेळाडूंचा समावेश करू शकतील.
