भारतीय महिला क्रिकेटने राष्ट्रकुल क्रीडा 2022 मधील सुवर्णपदकाच्या सामन्यात दिमाखदार प्रवेश केला आहे. बर्मिंगहॅम येथे खेळल्या गेलेल्या या सामन्यात भारताची कर्णधार हरमनप्रीत कौरने नाणेफेक जिंकून फलंदाजीचा निर्णय घेतला आणि निर्धारित 20 षटकात 5 गडी गमावून 164 धावा केल्या आणि त्यामुळे इंग्लंडचा संघ 165 धावांच्या लक्ष्याचा पाठलाग करताना 160 धावा करू शकला आणि 4 धावांनी सामना हरला. दरम्यान सुवर्ण सामन्यात प्रवेश करताना भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट संघाने आपला विजयी आंनद व्यक्त केला.
