Maratha Reservation: मराठा आरक्षण सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाकडून रद्द
महाराष्ट्र राज्य सरकारने दिलेले मराठा आरक्षण सर्वोच्च न्यायलयाने रद्द केले आहे. यामुळे आता मराठा समाजाला SEBC आरक्षण मिळणार नाही.
सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाकडून मराठा आरक्षण रद्द करण्यात आले आहे. यापूर्वी ज्यांना मराठा आरक्षणाचा फायदा मिळाला आहे तो कायम राहील पण पुढे हे आरक्षण देता येऊ शकत नाही असे सांगण्यात आले आहे. गायकवाड आयोगाचा अहवाल स्वीकारार्ह नसल्याचे न्यायलयाने म्हटलं आहे.
Justice Bhushan said that with respect to Article 342-A, we have upheld the Constitutional Amendment and it does not violate any Constitutional provision and therefore, we have dismissed the writ petition challenging the Maratha Reservation
