गेल्या अनेक दिवसांपासून महाराष्ट्राच्या राजकारणात प्रचंड उलथापालथ सुरु आहे. शिवसेनेपाठोपाठ आता त्यांचा मित्रपक्ष असलेल्या राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसमध्येही फूट पडण्याची शक्यता वर्तवली जात आहे. राष्ट्रवादीचे नेते आणि शरद पवार यांचे पुतणे अजित पवार भाजपमध्ये जाणार असल्याची चर्चा आहे. अशात आता भाजप आणि शिवसेना शिंदे गट अजित पवार यांचे खुलेपणाने स्वागत करत आहे. शिंदे गटाचे नेते आणि महाराष्ट्राचे मंत्री उदय सामंत म्हणाले की, 'अजित पवार आमच्यासोबत येण्यास इच्छुक असल्यास आम्ही त्यांचे स्वागत करू. त्यांना चांगला अनुभव आहे, ते मोठे नेते आहेत आणि आम्ही त्यांच्यासोबत काम केले आहे. अंतिम निर्णय मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे आणि उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस घेतील. परंतु अजित पवार आमच्यात सामील झाल्यास आम्हाला खूप आनंद होईल.'
