अर्थसंकल्पीय अधिवेशनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर विरोधी पक्षांनी चहापानावर बहिष्कार टाकण्यात आल्याचे जाहीर केले आहे.
महाविकास आघाडी सरकारच्या (Maha Vikas Aghadi) काळात गिरीश महाजन (Girish Mahajan) आणि देवेंद्र फडणवीसला (Devendra Fadanvis) अटक करण्याची चर्चा माझ्यासमोर झाली या सर्वांचा मी साक्षीदार आहे; पण त्यावेळी मी काय म्हणालो हे आज सांगणार नाही, पुढे योग्य वेळी सांगेन असा गौप्यस्फोट मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे (Eknath Shinde) यांनी केला. विरोधकांच्या टीकेला मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी प्रत्युत्तर दिले. दाऊदची बहीण हसिना पारकरला ज्यांनी चेक दिला, त्यांच्या मंत्र्यांनी राष्ट्रद्रोह केला, तरीही त्यांचा राजीनामा तत्काळीन उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार (Ajit Pawar) यांनी घेतला नाही. बरे झाले, अशा राष्ट्रद्रोह्यांसोबत चहा पिण्याची वेळ टळली असा टोला त्यांनी महाविकास आघाडीला लावला.
