व्हेल माशाला यशस्वीरित्या पुन्हा पाण्यात सोडण्याचा हा देशातील पहिलाच यशस्वी प्रयत्न आहे.
भारतीय तटरक्षक दलाने वनविभाग, JSW जयगड बंदर आणि राज्य प्रशासनासह महाराष्ट्राच्या कोकण किनारपट्टीवरील रत्नागिरी येथील गणपतीपुळे समुद्रकिनाऱ्यावरून 47 फूट लांबीच्या ब्लू व्हेलची सुटका केली आहे. 14 नोव्हेंबरच्या मध्यरात्री व्हेलला पुन्हा खोल पाण्यात सोडण्यात यश आल्याची माहिती भारत तटरक्षकाकडून देण्यात आली आहे. दरम्यान अशाप्रकारे व्हेल माशाला यशस्वीरित्या पुन्हा पाण्यात सोडण्याचा हा देशातील पहिलाच यशस्वी प्रयत्न आहे. व्हेल माशाने माणसाला जीवंत गिळले, 40 सेकंदानंतर उलटी करुन काढले बाहेर .
