अशोक चव्हाण यांनी नुकताच काँग्रेस पक्षाचा राजीनामा दिला. लवकरच ते भारतीय जनता पक्षात प्रवेश करतील अशी चर्चा आहे. दरम्यान, राजीनाम्यावरुन अनेक प्रतिक्रिया उमटत आहेत. एआयएमआयएमने या पक्षाने तर या राजीनाम्यावर टीका केली आहे. पक्षाचे नेते वारीस पठाण यांनी म्हटले की, अशोक चव्हाण हे भाजपमध्ये प्रवेश करत असल्याची चर्चा आणि वृत्त आहे. हा एक आता प्रकारच झाला आहे. आम्हाला म्हणजेच एआयएमआयएमला भाजपची बी टीम म्हणतात आणि आता हे लोक पाहा. धर्मनिरपेक्षतेच्या नावाखाली मते मागतात आणि ती मते घेऊन ते कुठे निघाले आहेत पाहा. भाजप सतत सांगत आहे की आणखी बरेच लोक लवकरच त्यांच्यात सामील होतील...कुठे सर्व धर्मनिरपेक्षतेचे चॅम्पियन आहेत आणि ते आता काहीच का बोलत नाहीत? असा सवालही पठाण यांनी उपस्थित केला.
