नागपूर मध्ये आज दीडशे वर्ष जुनी परंपरा असलेल्या मारबत उत्सव साजरा केला जात आहे. यासाठी हजारो लोकं रस्त्यावर आले आहेत. परंपरेनुसार, भाविक वाईट शक्तींचे प्रतिनिधित्व करणारे पुतळे घेऊन मिरवणूक काढतात. काली (काळी) आणि पिवळी (पिवळी) यांचे मातीचे पुतळे किंवा ‘मारबत’ हे मिरवणुकीचे मुख्य आकर्षण आहेत, जे स्थानिक लोक जाळतात.
