Zee-Sony Deal: झी एंटरटेनमेंट एंटरप्राइजेस लि.ने मंगळवारी सांगितले की, त्यांनी राष्ट्रीय कंपनी कायदा न्यायाधिकरण (NCLT), मुंबई खंडपीठासमोर दाखल केलेला सोनीसोबतच्या विलीनीकरण कराराचा अंमलबजावणी अर्ज मागे घेतला आहे. झीने 24 जानेवारी 2024 रोजी, झी आणि सोनी इंडिया युनिट्समधील Culver Max Entertainment Pvt व् Bangla Entertainment Pvt. विलीनीकरणाच्या अंमलबजावणीसाठी निर्देश मागण्यासाठी, हा करार अर्ज दाखल केला होता. आता मीडियाला दिलेल्या निवेदनात, झीने सांगितले की, या निर्णयामुळे कंपनीच्या वाढीला चालना देण्यासाठी आणि सर्व भागधारकांसाठी उच्च मूल्य निर्माण करण्यासाठी धोरणात्मक संधींचे मूल्यांकन करणे देखील शक्य होईल. या वर्षी 22 जानेवारी रोजी, जपानच्या सोनी कॉर्पोरेशनने झी एंटरटेनमेंटसह नियोजित विलीनीकरण रद्द करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता.
