मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, रशिया आणि युक्रेनमध्ये सुरू असलेल्या युद्धात युक्रेनसाठी भारताचा पाठिंबा मिळवणे हा एमिने झापरोवा यांच्या भारत भेटीचा उद्देश आहे.
युक्रेनच्या परराष्ट्र व्यवहार उपमंत्री एमिने झापरोवा सोमवारी भारतात आल्या आहेत. त्या 4 दिवसांच्या भारत दौऱ्यावर आहेत. यादरम्यान त्या भारताच्या अधिकाऱ्यांशी अनेक मुद्द्यांवर चर्चा करणार आहेत. मिळालेल्या माहितीनुसार, रशिया आणि युक्रेनमध्ये सुरू असलेल्या युद्धात युक्रेनसाठी भारताचा पाठिंबा मिळवणे हा एमिने झापरोवा यांच्या भारत भेटीचा उद्देश आहे.
आज त्या म्हणाल्या, 'भारताने आपल्या जवळ यावे असे युक्रेनला वाटते. आपल्याकडे इतिहासात वेगवेगळी पाने होती पण आता युक्रेनला स्वातंत्र्य मिळत आहे. आमच्या देशाला हळूहळू महत्व प्राप्त होत आहे. आज भारत जगात खूप महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावत आहे. जी-20 (G20) चे अध्यक्षपद अतिरिक्त जबाबदारी आणते. युक्रेनला आपल्या अजेंड्यामध्ये सामील करून आणि युक्रेनला तिची कथा लिहिण्यासाठी मदत करून भारत हे नेतृत्व पेलवू शकतो.'
एमिने झापरोवा पुढे म्हणाल्या, 'आता युक्रेनचे लोक जगभरातील वेगवेगळ्या नेत्यांच्या टिप्पण्या तसेच पंतप्रधान मोदी आणि राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सल्लागार (NSA) अजित डोवाल यांच्या प्रवासावर बारकाईने लक्ष ठेवतात. कीवमध्ये भारताच्या नेत्यांचे आणि अधिकाऱ्यांचे स्वागत करताना आम्हाला आनंद होईल,'
