पाच महिला अधिकाऱ्यांपैकी तीन उत्तरेकडील सीमेवर तैनात असलेल्या तुकड्यांमध्ये आणि उर्वरित दोन पश्चिमेकडील आव्हानात्मक ठिकाणी तैनात आहेत.
Indian Army च्या Regiment of Artillery मध्ये महिला ऑफिसर ची पहिली तुकडी दाखल झाली आहे. ऑफिसर्स ट्रेनिंग अकॅडमी (OTA), चेन्नई येथे यशस्वीरित्या प्रशिक्षण पूर्ण केल्यानंतर पाच महिला अधिकारी आज Regiment of Artillery मध्ये दाखल झाल्या आहेत. या तरुण महिला अधिकाऱ्यांची सर्व प्रकारच्या तोफखाना युनिटमध्ये नियुक्ती केली जाणार आहे. पाच महिला अधिकाऱ्यांपैकी तीन उत्तरेकडील सीमेवर तैनात असलेल्या तुकड्यांमध्ये आणि उर्वरित दोन पश्चिमेकडील आव्हानात्मक ठिकाणी तैनात आहेत.
