अरूण गोयल यांच्या राजीनाम्यानंतर भारताचं मुख्य निवडणूक आयुक्त पद रिक्त आहे.
देशात लोकसभा निवडणूकीच्या तोंडावर अरूण गोयल यांनी राजीनामा दिल्यानंतर आता भारताच्या निवडणूक आयुक्त पदी नव्याने 2 निवृत्त IAS अधिकार्‍यांची निवड झाल्याचं एक खोटं नोटिफिकेशन वायरल होत आहे. यामध्ये तातडीने 13 मार्च पासून राजेश गुप्ता आणि प्रियांश शर्मा पदभार सांभाळतील असा दावा आहे मात्र PIB ने खुलासा करत हे परिपत्रक खोटं असल्याचं सांगत अद्याप निवडणूक आयुक्त पदी निवडीबाबत निर्णय झाला नसल्याचं म्हटलं आहे.
