पाल हे भारतीय नौदल अकादमीचे माजी विद्यार्थी आहेत आणि जानेवारी 1989 मध्ये भारतीय तटरक्षक दलात रुजू झाले.
महासंचालक राकेश पाल यांची भारतीय तटरक्षक दलाचे 25 वे महासंचालक म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे. ते भारतीय नौदल अकादमीचे माजी विद्यार्थी आहेत आणि जानेवारी 1989 मध्ये भारतीय तटरक्षक दलात रुजू झाले. त्यांनी इंडियन नेव्हल स्कूल द्रोणाचार्य, कोची येथे तोफखाना आणि शस्त्रे प्रणालीमध्ये व्यावसायिक स्पेशलायझेशन आणि युनायटेड किंगडममधून इलेक्ट्रो-ऑप्टिक्स फायर कंट्रोल सोल्यूशन कोर्स केला आहे. पाल यांना ICG चा पहिला गनर म्हणून मान्यता आहे.
