कथित वैवाहिक कलहामुळे विवाहापूर्वी पत्नीने दाखल केलेल्या बलात्काराच्या केसला पुनरुज्जीवित केल्यानंतर एका व्यक्तीने सर्वोच्च न्यायालयात अटकपूर्व जामिनासाठी याचिका दाखल केली आहे. न्यायमूर्ती बीआर गवई, विक्रम नाथ आणि संजय करोल यांच्या खंडपीठाने सोमवारी उत्तर प्रदेश सरकारकडून याचिकेवर उत्तर मागितले. विवाहापूर्वी 2011 आणि 2014 मध्ये झालेल्या त्यांच्या पत्नीवर झालेल्या बलात्काराच्या प्रकरणात याचिकाकर्त्या-पतीला अटकपूर्व जामीन नाकारणाऱ्या अलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालयाच्या आदेशाला आव्हान देणारी याचिका दाखल करण्यात आली होती. हेही वाचा सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाचा मोठा निर्णय, घटस्फोटासाठी सहा महिने थांबण्याची गरज नाही
