भारताच्या वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेससाठी चुकीची दक्षिण अमेरिकन ट्रेन दाखवणारा व्हिडिओ कथितपणे शेअर केल्यामुळे काँग्रेस पक्षाने रेल्वे मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव यांच्यावर टीका केली आहे. पेरूहून आलेल्या ट्रेनचे चित्रण करणारी ही क्लिप मंत्र्यांनी सोशल मीडियावर पोस्ट केल्याने संतापाची लाट उसळली असून काहींनी विनोदी प्रतिक्रियाही दिल्या आहेत, काँग्रेसने वैष्णव यांना "रील मंत्री" म्हणून संबोधले आणि त्यांच्यावर खऱ्या रेल्वेच्या मुद्द्यांवर रीलांना प्राधान्य दिल्याचा आरोप केला. काँग्रेसने पुढे निदर्शनास आणले की वैष्णव यांनी भूतकाळातील महत्त्वपूर्ण रेल्वे अपघात कमी केले आहेत, त्यांना किरकोळ घटना म्हणून लेबल केले आहे. त्यांनी 100 दिवसांत झालेल्या 50 हून अधिक रेल्वे अपघातांबद्दल मंत्र्याचे भाष्य अधोरेखित केले आणि त्यांचे रेल्वे व्यवस्थापन अपयशी ठरले. त्रुटी लक्षात आल्यानंतर, रेल्वेमंत्र्यांनी योग्य व्हिडिओ पुन्हा पोस्ट केला.
