Shakti Bill: 'शक्ती कायदा' मंजूरीसाठी सुप्रिया सुळे सह NCP-SCP कार्यकर्त्यांचं आज मुंबई मध्ये आंदोलन
शक्ती कायदा अंतर्गत बलात्कारींना मृत्यूदंडाची शिक्षा होऊ शकते. त्यामुळे बलात्कार्यांवर कायद्याचा जरब असावा यासाठी शक्ती कायदा राज्य सरकारने लवकरात लवकर मंजूर करावा अशी मागणी जोर धरत आहे.
महाराष्ट्रातील वाढत्या महिला अत्याचाराच्या घटना पाहता NCP-SCP कार्यकर्त्यांसह आज सुप्रिया सुळे विधिमंडळ परिसरातील महात्मा गांधींजींच्या पुतळ्याजवळ आंदोलनाला बसल्या आहेत. शक्ती कायदा अंतर्गत बलात्कारींना मृत्यूदंडाची शिक्षा होऊ शकते. त्यामुळे बलात्कार्यांवर कायद्याचा जरब असावा यासाठी शक्ती कायदा राज्य सरकारने लवकरात लवकर मंजूर करावा अशी मागणी जोर धरत आहे.
