मुंबईसह पश्चिम महाराष्ट्रातील अनेक भागात थंडीचा जोर वाढला आहे. गेल्या आठवड्यात मुंबईचे तापमान 20 अंश सेल्सिअसच्या खाली गेले होते. त्यानंतर शनिवारी मुंबईचे तापमान 17.5 अंश सेल्सिअसवर पोहोचले. मंगळवारी पवई येथे 15 अंश सेल्सिअस तापमानाची नोंद झाली, जे आतापर्यंतच्या हंगामातील सर्वात कमी तापमान आहे. शहराने थंडीच्या दिवसांचे स्वागत केल्यामुळे, अनेक वापरकर्ते त्यांचा उत्साह शेअर करण्यासाठी X वर गेले. एका वापरकर्त्याने लिहिले, "मुंबईत हिवाळा पाठवल्याबद्दल दिल्लीकरांचे आभार." दुसर्या युजरने लिहिले, "आणि मुंबईत या हिवाळ्यात पारा सर्वात कमी आहे."
