पाळीव कुत्र्याने मालकाची रात्रभर वाट पाहिली. मालकाच्या पादत्राणांजवळ बसून मालकाच्या पावलांकडे डोळे लावले. मात्र, मालक परतलाच नाही. शेवटी तो भुंकायला लागला. अखेर शेजाऱ्यांना शंका आल्याने शेजाऱ्यांनी पोलिसांना माहिती दिली. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी तपास केला असता या कुत्र्याच्या मालकाने यानाम-येदुरलंका पुलादरम्यान गोदावरी नदीत उडी मारली आणि आयुष्य संपल्याचे पुढे आले.
