जनरल उपेंद्र द्विवेदी यांनी आज भारतीय लष्करप्रमुख म्हणून पदभार स्वीकारला. ते भारतीय लष्कराचे 30 वे लष्करप्रमुख आहेत. ते याआधी भारतीय लष्कराचे उपप्रमुख होते आणि त्यांनी उत्तरी लष्कराचे नेतृत्वही केले होते.
