काही दिवसांपूर्वी भारताचे पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांची बीबीसी वरील वादग्रस्त डॉक्युमेंटरी चर्चेचा विषय होती. ट्वीटर कडून या डॉक्युमेंटरीची लिंक काढून टाकण्यात आली. त्यावर प्रतिक्रिया देताना Elon Musk म्हणाले,' जर मला कायदा पाळणं किंवा जेल मध्ये जाणं हे दोन पर्याय असतील तर भारतासारख्या सोशल मीडीया बाबत कडक नियमावली असलेली देशात मी कायदा पाळणं पसंत करेन.' BBC Documentary: सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने फेटाळली भारतात बीबीसीवर बंदी घालण्याची याचिका; म्हटले- 'सेन्सॉरशिप लादू शकत नाही, आमचा वेळ वाया घालवू नका'.
