Angel Tax Abolished: केंद्रीय अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारामन यांनी मंगळवारी मोदी सरकारचा 2024-25 या आर्थिक वर्षासाठीचा अर्थसंकल्प सादर केला. यावेळी निर्मला सीतारामन यांनी एंजल टॅक्स केल्याची घोषणा केली. एंजल टॅक्स रद्द झाल्याने गुंतवणूकदारांना मोठा फायदा होणार आहे. देशात 2012 मध्ये एंजेल टॅक्स लागू करण्यात आला. हा कर अशा असूचीबद्ध व्यवसायांवर लागू होता ज्यांना एंजल गुंतवणूकदारांकडून निधी मिळाला होता. तथापि, उद्यम भांडवलदार आणि उद्योग तज्ञांनी भारतातील स्टार्टअपसाठी अधिक अनुकूल वातावरणास प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी एंजेल कर काढून टाकण्याची मागणी केली. दरम्यान, आज अर्थमंत्र्यांनी याबाबत घोषणा केली.
