भारताने नेपाळचा 23 धावांनी पराभव केला आहे. यासह टीम इंडियाने उपांत्य फेरीत धडक मारली आहे. उपांत्यपूर्व फेरीच्या सामन्यात भारताने नाणेफेक जिंकून प्रथम फलंदाजी करत चार गडी गमावून 202 धावा केल्या. यशस्वी जैस्वालने सर्वाधिक 100 धावांचे योगदान दिले. रिंकू सिंगने 37, ऋतुराज आणि शिवम दुबेने 25-25 धावा केल्या. नेपाळकडून दीपेंद्र सिंगने दोन बळी घेतले. सोमपाल कामी आणि लामिछाने यांना प्रत्येकी एक विकेट मिळाली. प्रत्युत्तरात नेपाळचा संघ नऊ गडी गमावून केवळ 179 धावा करू शकला. दीपेंद्र सिंगने सर्वाधिक 32 धावा केल्या. संदीप जोरा आणि कुशल मल्लाने 29 धावांचे, कुशल भुरटेलने 28 आणि करणने 18 धावांचे योगदान दिले. त्यामुळे नेपाळचा संघ भारताला टक्कर देण्यात यशस्वी ठरला.
