Mahalaxmi Race Course Theme Park: मुंबईतील (Mumbai) एका रहिवाशाने महालक्ष्मी रेसकोर्स (Mahalaxmi Race Course) मध्ये थीम पार्क (Theme Park) च्या बांधकामाला आव्हान देणारी याचिका मुंबई उच्च न्यायालयात (Bombay High Court) दाखल केली आहे. न्यायालय 24 जानेवारी 2024 रोजी पक्षकारांची सुनावणी करेल. न्यायालयाने म्हटलं आहे की, बुधवारपर्यंत (जेव्हा या प्रकरणाची पुढील सुनावणी होईल) पक्षांपैकी कोणीही या प्रकरणात कोणतीही कारवाई करणार नाही. मुंबईचे रहिवासी तनुज भाटिया यांनी 13 जानेवारी रोजी Change.org वर याचिका सुरू केली आहे. या याचिकेवर आतापर्यंत 24,029 सह्या मिळाल्या आहेत. यावरून बृहन्मुंबई महानगरपालिकेच्या (BMC) महालक्ष्मी रेसकोर्सच्या जागी थीम पार्क आणि मुंबई आय बांधण्याच्या प्रस्तावाला किती व्यापक विरोध केला जात आहे, याचा अंदाज येऊ शकतो.
