मुंबई विमानतळाचे नाव बाळ ठाकरे यांच्या नावावर करण्याचा प्रस्ताव त्यांच्याकडून पाठवण्यात आलेला नाही, असे ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधियांनी सांगितले आहे.
देशातील कोणत्याही विमानतळाचे नाव देण्याची प्रक्रिया असते आणि त्यानुसार प्रस्ताव पाठवावा लागतो. विधानसभेत हा ठराव संमत करण्याची परंपरा आहे. परंतु आजपर्यंत मुंबई विमानतळाचे नाव बाळ ठाकरे यांच्या नावावर करण्याचा प्रस्ताव त्यांच्याकडून पाठवण्यात आलेला नाही, असे ज्योतिरादित्य सिंधियांनी सांगितले आहे.
