राज्य सरकार कडून भारत निवडणूक आयोगाला पत्र लिहून आचारसंहितेला शिथिल करण्याची मागणी करण्यात आली आहे.
महाराष्ट्रातील दुष्काळी परिस्थितीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर तत्काळ मदत करण्यासाठी राज्य सरकार कडून भारत निवडणूक आयोगाला पत्र लिहून आचारसंहितेला शिथिल करण्याची मागणी करण्यात आली आहे. सध्या राज्यातील अनेक भागांमध्ये दुष्काळ पडला आहे. या भागात तत्काळ मदत आणि त्यासंबंधीच्या योजनांचा विस्तार करता येईल यासाठी सरकार कडून ही मागणी करण्यात आली आहे.
