महाराष्ट्राचे राज्यपाल भगतसिंग कोश्यारी हे आपल्या अनेक विवादित वक्तव्यांमुळे चर्चेत आले आहेत. विरोधकांनीही त्यांच्यावर अनेकवेळा पक्षपाती असल्याचा आरोप केला आहे. याआधी राज्यपाल भगतसिंग कोश्यारी यांनी शनिवारी एक विधान केले जे चर्चेत होते. ते म्हणाले होते की, 'राज्यपाल होण्यात आनंद नाही, या पदावर असण्याचे दु:खच आहे. आता माहिती मिळत आहे की, लवकरच राज्यपाल भगतसिंग कोश्यारी पदमुक्त होऊ शकतात. त्यांनी आज सांगितले की, त्यांनी पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांना पत्र लिहिले आहे. या पत्रात त्यांनी, 'आपल्याला सर्व राजकीय जबाबदाऱ्यांमधून मुक्त व्हायचे आहे', असे पंतप्रधानांना कळवले आहे.
