"ही निवडणूक लोकशाही आणि भारतीय राज्यघटनेची लढाई आहे. एका बाजूला या देशाची लोकशाही आणि या देशाची राज्यघटना नष्ट करू पाहणाऱ्या शक्ती आहेत. आणि दुसऱ्या बाजूला संरक्षण करणारी शक्ती आहे. एक शक्ती संविधान आणि आपल्या देशाच्या लोकशाही स्वरूपाचे रक्षण करत आहे. त्यामुळे कोण कोणत्या बाजूला आहे? हे तुम्हा सर्वांना स्पष्ट झालं असेल. संविधानावर कोण हल्ला करत आहे? या देशाच्या लोकशाही रचनेवर कोण हल्ला करत आहे? हे अगदी स्पष्ट आहे.", असे राहूल गांधी (Rahul Gandhi) प्रसारमाध्यमांशी संवाद साधताना म्हणाले आहेत.
