मुंबई मध्ये झालेल्या 71 व्या Miss World finale मध्ये रिलायंस फाऊंडेशनच्या चेअरपर्सन Nita Mukesh Ambani यांचा गौरव ‘Beauty With a Purpose Humanitarian Award’ देऊन करण्यात आला. त्यांनी केलेल्या समाजकार्यासाठी त्यांना हा पुरस्कार देण्यात आला आहे. पुरस्कार स्विकारताना त्यांनी 'नारी शक्ती' ला सलाम करत तो स्विकारला. 1996 मध्ये मिस वर्ल्ड स्पर्धेच्या 46 व्या स्पर्धेचं आयोजन केल्यानंतर यंदा भारताने मुंबईत यावेळी मिस वर्ल्डचे आयोजन केले होते.
