HC On Cow Slaughter: गोहत्येशी संबंधित प्रकरणांमध्ये निष्पक्ष तपास सुनिश्चित करण्याचे उच्च न्यायालयाचे आदेश
उच्च न्यायालयात एका प्रकरणाच्या सुनावणीनंतर जारी करण्यात आलेल्या आदेशात केंद्र सरकारला गोहत्या बंदीसाठी आणि गायीला 'संरक्षित राष्ट्रीय प्राणी' म्हणून घोषित करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय स्तरावर कायदा करण्यास त्यांनी सांगितले होते.
साधारण एक महिन्यापूर्वी उत्तर प्रदेशच्या अलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालयाच्या लखनौ खंडपीठाच्या न्यायमूर्तींनी देशभरात गोहत्या बंदीची बाजू मांडली होती. उच्च न्यायालयात एका प्रकरणाच्या सुनावणीनंतर जारी करण्यात आलेल्या आदेशात केंद्र सरकारला गोहत्या बंदीसाठी आणि गायीला 'संरक्षित राष्ट्रीय प्राणी' म्हणून घोषित करण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय स्तरावर कायदा करण्यास त्यांनी सांगितले होते. आता अलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालयाने उत्तर प्रदेशच्या डीजीपींना गोहत्येशी संबंधित प्रकरणांमध्ये निष्पक्ष तपास सुनिश्चित करण्यासाठी तपास अधिकाऱ्यांना त्यांच्या कर्तव्याची आठवण करून देण्याचे निर्देश दिले आहे.
