कानपूरमध्ये पाणीपुरी खाण्यावरून असा वाद झाला की गोळ्या झाडल्या गेल्या आणि डझनहून अधिक लोक जखमी झाले. बुधवारी सायंकाळी राणीया पोलीस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीतील राजेंद्र चौकात एका हातगाडीजवळ पाणीपुरी खाण्यावरून दोन पक्षांमध्ये मारामारी झाली. रिपोर्टनुसार, वादानंतर काही वेळाने एका बाजूच्या लोकांनी दुसऱ्या बाजूच्या दुकानावर हल्ला केला, ज्यामध्ये जोरदार दगडफेक झाली आणि लाठ्यांचाही वापर करण्यात आला. दरम्यान, छतावर असलेल्या घरमालकानेही आपल्या परवाना असलेल्या बंदुकीतून गोळीबार सुरू केला. या वादात दोन्ही बाजूचे अनेक जण जखमी झाले असून, कोणीही गंभीर जखमी नसल्याचा दावा पोलिस करत आहेत. याप्रकरणी पोलिसांनी पाच जणांना अटक केली.
