Muslim Marriages Law Abolished in Assam: आसाम सरकार (Assam Government) ने आज मोठा निर्णय घेत मुस्लिम विवाह कायदा रद्द केला आहे. राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री हिमंता विश्व शर्मा (CM Himanta Biswa Sarma) यांनी सोशल मीडिया प्लॅटफॉर्म X वर ही माहिती दिली. आम्ही आमच्या मुली आणि बहिणींना न्याय मिळवून देण्यासाठी एक महत्त्वाचे पाऊल उचलले आहे आणि बालविवाहाविरूद्ध अतिरिक्त सुरक्षा उपाय सुरू केले आहेत, असं शर्मा यांनी आपल्या X वरील एका पोस्टमध्ये म्हटलं आहे. आज आसाम मंत्रिमंडळाच्या बैठकीत, आम्ही आसाम रिपीलिंग बिल 2024 द्वारे आसाम मुस्लिम विवाह आणि घटस्फोट नोंदणी कायदा (Assam Muslim Marriages and Divorce Registration Act) आणि नियम 1935 रद्द करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे, असंही त्यांनी या पोस्टमध्ये नमूद केलं आहे.
