रतन टाटा यांनी मुंबई मध्ये काल (9 ऑक्टोबर) अखेरचा श्वास घेतला आहे. त्यांच्या निधनाच्या वृत्त केवळ उद्योग विश्व नव्हे तर सामान्य नागरिकही हळहळला. जर्मनी मध्ये Dil-Luminati World Tour कॉन्सर्ट दरम्यान Diljit Dosanjh ला टाटांच्या निधनाचं वृत्त समजताच त्यानेही कॉन्सर्ट थांबवत त्यांना आदरांजली अर्पण केली. यावेळी त्याने रतन टाटा यांनी "आयुष्यात नेहमीच कठोर परिश्रम केले, चांगले काम केले आणि मदत केली. हे जीवन आहे, असेच असावे. त्याच्या जीवनातून आपण जर एक गोष्ट शिकू शकतो, ती म्हणजे आपण कठोर परिश्रम केले पाहिजे, सकारात्मक विचार केला पाहिजे, मदत केली पाहिजे आणि जीवन पूर्णतः जगले पाहिजे. त्यांना भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजली." असं म्हटलं आहे.
