Birbhum Violence: बीरभूमच्या बोगतुई गावात झालेल्या हिंसाचारावरून पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभेत सोमवारी सत्ताधारी आणि विरोधी पक्षांच्या सदस्यांमध्ये हाणामारी झाली. त्यात अनेक जण जखमी झाले. या घटनेनंतर भारतीय जनता पक्षाने सभात्याग केला.
विधानसभेचे अधिवेशन सुरू झाल्यानंतर, भाजपच्या आमदारांनी बोगटुईच्या मुद्द्यावर आंदोलन केले आणि मुख्यमंत्री ममता बॅनर्जी यांच्या राजीनाम्याची मागणी केली. भाजपचे आमदार सभागृहाच्या वेलमध्ये घुसले आणि मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या विरोधात घोषणाबाजी करू लागले. स्पीकर विमान बॅनर्जी यांनी विरोधी पक्षाच्या आमदारांना आपली जागा घेण्यास वारंवार विनंती केली, परंतु त्यांनी आपला विरोध सुरूच ठेवला.
