Punjab School Summer Vacation: उष्णतेच्या लाटेवर पंजाब सरकारचा मोठा निर्णय, राज्यातील सर्व शाळांमध्ये 21 मे ते 30 जून या कालावधीत उन्हाळी सुट्टी जाहीर
. तीव्र सूर्यप्रकाश आणि उष्णतेमुळे मुलांचे आरोग्य बिघडण्याची भीती असल्याचे सरकारचे म्हणणे आहे. ते टाळण्यासाठी शाळा बंद करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.
कडक उन्हामुळे पंजाब सरकारने राज्यातील सरकारी आणि खासगी शाळांना उन्हाळ्याच्या सुट्या जाहीर केल्या आहेत. उद्या 21 मे पासून उन्हाळी सुट्ट्या सुरु होणार असून 30 जून पर्यंत सुरू राहणार आहेत. पंजाबमधील शाळांमध्ये याआधी उन्हाळ्याच्या सुट्या 1 जूनपासून सुरू होणार होत्या, मात्र उष्णतेच्या लाटेमुळे सर्व शाळा वेळेपूर्वी बंद करण्याचा आदेश जारी करण्यात आला आहे. तीव्र सूर्यप्रकाश आणि उष्णतेमुळे मुलांचे आरोग्य बिघडण्याची भीती असल्याचे सरकारचे म्हणणे आहे. ते टाळण्यासाठी शाळा बंद करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.
