Nepal Same-Sex Marriage: नेपाळ सुप्रीम कोर्टाने सरकारला समलिंगी विवाहांना कायदेशीर मान्यता देण्याचे दिले आदेश

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ऑफ नेपाल कडून सेम सेक्स मॅरेज अर्थात समलिंगी विवाहाला कायदेशीर मान्यता देण्यात आली आहे. नेपाळच्या सर्वोच्च न्यायालयानेही सरकारने नेपाळी नागरिकाच्या समलिंगी परदेशी जोडीदाराला मान्यता देणे आवश्यक आहे असा निर्णय दिला आहे. लेस्बियन, गे, बायसेक्शुअल आणि ट्रान्सजेंडर (LGBT) लोकांच्या अधिकारांना मान्यता देणार्‍या 2007 आणि 2017 मधील निर्णयांवर आधारित, सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने असे आढळले की समलिंगी विवाहाला मान्यता न देणं हे नेपाळच्या संविधानाचे आणि त्याच्या आंतरराष्ट्रीय मानवाधिकार दायित्वांचे उल्लंघन करणारं असेल असे ते म्हणाले. Same Sex Marriage: समलिंगी विवाहास केंद्राचा विरोध; पती, पत्नी, मुले आणि भारतीय कुटुंब संकल्पनेचा दिला दाखला .
