मल्याळम सिनेमा '2018- Everyone is a Hero'ची यंदा भारताकडून Oscars 2024 साठी Official Entry करण्यात आल्याची माहिती Film Federation of India कडून देण्यात आली आहे. Jude Anthany Joseph यांचा हा सिनेमा असून केरळ राज्याला उद्ध्वस्त करणाऱ्या ऑगस्ट 2018 च्या दुर्दैवी महापुरावर आधारित आहे. केरळ राज्यातील या पुरात 14 जिल्हे बाधित झाले होते 500 हून अधिक लोक मरण पावले आणि 15 लोक बेपत्ता झाले होते. हा चित्रपट सामान्य नागरिकांनी दाखवलेल्या विलक्षण धैर्य आणि एकतेवर बेतला आहे.
