World Cancer Day 2019: कॅन्सरमुळे 'हे' बॉलिवडू स्टार्स काळाच्या पडद्याआड

World Cancer Day 2019: 4 फेब्रुवारीला 'जागतिक कॅन्सर दिवस' (World Cancer Day) साजरा केला जातो. भारतात सर्वाधिक गतीने वाढणारा आजार म्हणजे कॅन्सर, असे तज्ञांचे म्हणणे आहे. याचे प्रमुख कारण म्हणजे बदललेली जीवनशैली. कॅन्सर दिवस साजरा करण्यामागचा प्रमुख उद्देश म्हणजे कॅन्सरबद्दल जागृकता वाढवणे आणि या आजाराशी लढणाऱ्या रुग्णांना नवी आशा देणे, हा आहे. सुरुवातीच्या टप्प्यात कॅन्सरचे निदान झाल्यास त्यावर उपचार करणे आणि त्यातून बाहेर पडणे शक्य होते. या आजारामुळे अनेकांनी आपले प्राण गमावले असतील. त्यात बॉलिवूड स्टार्सचाही सहभाग आहे. 'वर्ल्ड कॅन्सर डे' निमित्त जाणून घेऊया कॅन्सरमुळे काळाच्या पडद्याआड झालेले बॉलिवूड सेलिब्रेटी... ('I Am and I Will' म्हणत कॅन्सर आजाराला नष्ट करा!)

आदेश श्रीवास्तव (Aadesh Shrivastava)

बॉलिवूडचे लोकप्रिय गायक आणि संगीतकार आदेश श्रीवास्तव यांचे कॅन्सरने निधन झाले. ऑगस्ट 2015 मध्ये तिसऱ्यांना त्यांना कॅन्सरचे निदान झाले आणि या दुर्धर आजाराने त्यांचा बळी घेतला. मुंबईतील कोकिलाबेन धीरुभाई अंबानी हॉस्पिटलमध्ये त्यांना दाखल करण्यात आले होते. या आजाराने ते कोमात गेले आणि 5 सप्टेंबर, 2015 रोजी त्यांचे निधन झाले.

विनोद खन्ना (Vinod Khanna)

बॉलिवूडचा दिग्गज अभिनेता विनोद खन्ना यांच्यावरही कॅन्सरने घाला घातला. वयाच्या 70 व्या वर्षी त्यांचे ब्लड कॅन्सरने एचएन रिलायन्स हॉस्पिलमध्ये निधन झाले. विनोद खन्ना यांचा मृत्यूने सिनेसृष्टीवर शोककळा पसरली. 27 एप्रिल 2017 रोजी विनोद खन्ना यांची प्राणज्योत मालवली.

राजेश खन्ना (Rajesh Khanna)

बॉलिवूडचे पहिले सुपरस्टार राजेश खन्ना देखील कॅन्सरच्या विळख्यात अडकले. मात्र कॅन्सर झाल्याची खबर त्यांनी मीडियापासून लपवून ठेवली. निधनाच्या सुमारे 20 दिवसांपूर्वी त्यांच्यावर उपचार, औषधांचा कोणताही परिणाम होणे बंद झाले. 18 जुलै 2012 रोजी राजेश खन्ना यांना देवाज्ञा झाली.

बॉलिवूडची ही सुंदर अभिनेत्री नर्गिस दत्त देखील कॅन्सरला बळी पडली. 1980 मध्ये नर्गिस यांना कॅन्सरवरील उपचारांसाठी न्युयॉर्कला नेण्यात आले. मात्र तेथून परतल्यानंतर त्यांची प्रकृती अधिकाधिक बिघडत गेली आणि 2 मे, 1981 मध्ये त्या कोमात गेल्या. त्यानंतर दुसऱ्याच दिवशीच त्यांचे निधन झाले. त्यानंतर काही दिवसातच मुलगा संजय दत्तच्या 'रॉकी' सिनेमा प्रदर्शित होणार होता. मात्र मुलाचे काम पाहणे त्यांच्या नशिबात नव्हते.
