World Boxing Championship 2022: भारताच्या निखत जरीनने गुरुवारी (19 मे) तुर्कीतील इस्तंबूल येथे महिला वर्ड बॉक्सिंग चॅम्पियनशिपमध्ये सुवर्णपदक जिंकले. पाच पंचांच्या एकमताने तिला विजयी घोषित करण्यात आले. जागतिक चॅम्पियनशिपमधील भारताचे हे 10 वे सुवर्णपदक आहे.
World Boxing Championship: महिला जागतिक बॉक्सिंग चॅम्पियनशिपच्या (Women's Boxing Championship_ 52 किलो वजनी गटाच्या अंतिम फेरीत थायलंडच्या जुतामास जितपॉन्गचा पराभव करत भारतीय बॉक्सर निखत जरीनने (Nikhat Zareen) सुवर्ण पदकाची खिशात घातले आहे. सहा वेळा चॅम्पियन एमसी मेरी कॉम (MC Mary Kom), सरिता देवी, जेनी आरएल आणि लेखा सी यांच्यानंतर निखत जागतिक विजेतेपद जिंकणारी पाचवी भारतीय महिला बॉक्सर बनली आहे.
