भारताचा स्टार भालाफेकपटू सुमित अंतिलने आज पुन्हा एकदा चमकदार कामगिरी केली आहे. त्याने पुरुषांच्या F64 प्रकारात आशियाई पॅरा गेम्समध्ये केवळ सुवर्णपदकच जिंकले नाही, तर त्याचा जागतिक विक्रमही सुधारला. त्याने 73.29 मीटरचे प्रभावी अंतर गाठले, त्याने त्याच्या मागील सर्वोत्तम 70.83 मीटरला मागे टाकले, जे त्याने या वर्षाच्या सुरुवातीला पॅरिसमधील जागतिक अॅथलेटिक्स चॅम्पियनशिपमध्ये गाठले होते. पुष्पेंद्र सिंगनेही कांस्यपदक पटकावले. त्याने 62.06 मीटरचे सर्वोत्तम अंतर पार केले. श्रीलंकेच्या कोडिथुवाक्कू अरचिगे समेथा डीने 64.09 मीटरच्या सर्वोत्तम थ्रोसह रौप्य पदक जिंकले. रिंगणातील आणखी एक भारतीय, संदीप पदकांपासून दूर होता आणि चौथ्या स्थानावर राहिला.
